CMC Telecom: Facilitating Data Center Services

Top 10 Data Center Solution Companies - 2019

Although data centres continue to provide major support to the increasingly complex IT operations in every industry, their usage is constantly evolving with the emergence of newer technologies. Data centres are moving away from being just an external facility for compute and data storage to become an intelligent hub. With emerging technologies like AI, machine learning, IoT, and edge computing, data centres are supporting IT workloads in a flexible and scalable manner.

While AI and machine learning can aid organizations to detect cyberthreats based on deviation from the normal behaviour, analytics helps firms leverage the metadata from the physical data centre components to provide application-level integration and improve the efficiency. AI adoption in the data centre also automates various routine tasks like status monitoring, floor security, and fire hazards mitigation. Organizations can also track power levels and identify potential defective areas in the systems with advanced predictive analytics. Now is the time for smaller data centres in regional locations to bring services and compute closer to the customer. With this re-location, organizations can deliver shorter backhaul, lesser latency, and better security.

As edge computing architectures expand the reach of a typical cloud network by pushing key processing functions to the edge of the network, data centres can extend network reach and increase speed. This provides more powerful processing resources that can handle tasks too big for IoT devices, but not large enough to send back to the core of the network. IoT not only increases the flexibility of the data centres by remotely managing routine tasks like patching, monitoring, updating, scheduling, and configuration but also improves the customer experience by allowing them to review maintenance predictions.

We are glad to feature CMC Telecom in this edition of APAC CIO Outlook. CMC Telecom provides monitoring and administration services through professional management tools that help organizations to continuously monitor the network devices and the availability, effectiveness of network services from anywhere at any time. The company also offers dedicated data centre spaces, servers, collocation services, and Over the Top (OTT) platform to support organizations in achieving their business objectives. A member of CMC Corporation, CMC Telecom, has three neutral data centres with Tier 3 TIA942 standards, ISO 9001:2001, ISO 27001 certificates. The dedicated servers allow organizations to choose and upgrade server configuration and install any new application and utilities with improved connectivity to the Internet. CMC Telecom caters to banks, financial institutions, telcos, content providers, and other multinational firms. The data centre of CMC Telecom is the first to own PCI DSS security certification in Vietnam because of its superior security standards.

We hope this issue of APAC CIO Outlook helps you build the partnership you and your firm need to foster a value-driven data centre environment.

We present to you APAC CIO Outlook’s “Top 10 Data Centre Solution Providers 2019.”
